Located in the northernmost part of Palm Beach County, Jupiter is a town with an estimated population of 62,707. The area was initially recognized as the settlement for the Hobe Indian tribe, which lived at the mouth of the Loxahatchee River, and whose name is also preserved in the name of nearby Hobe Sound. The most prominent landmark in the town is the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, completed in 1860.

Jupiter Seafood Festival – The Jupiter Seafood Festival is an annual event offering fresh, locally caught seafood from Palm Beach County caterers and restaurants, as well as local art, gifts and more. Proceeds from the event will go to the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation, helping the long-term health and vibrancy of the Atlantic Ocean by building artificial reefs in its waters.
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum – Operated by Loxahatchee River Historical Society, Inc., the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1972 dedicated to preserve and interpret the dynamic heritage, ancient cultural history and sensitive natural systems of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area and the Loxahatchee River region.
